Bangladesh Jamaat leader gets death sentence

The acting head of Jamaat-e-Islami in Bangladesh has called for a nationwide protest on Sunday after a leader of the group, Muhammad Kamaruzzaman, was sentenced to death for war crimes.

Fighting broke out near the capital after the decision was handed down.
