অ্যাভাটার ওয়ানের ১৩ বছর পর গত ১৬ ডিসেম্বর মুক্তি পেল অ্যাভাটার টু। অ্যাভাটার ওয়ানের কাহিনী যেখানে শেষ হয়েছে, সেখান থেকেই অ্যাভাটার টু’র কাহিনী শুরু।

জ্যাক সেলি প্যান্ডোরা গ্রহে নতুন জীবন শুরু করেছে নতুন পরিবার নিয়ে। কিন্তু, সুখ বেশিদিন স্থায়ী হলো না, পুরনো শত্রু ফিরে এলো নতুন রূপে। নেইতিরি ও নাভি আর্মিকে নিয়ে প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তুলল জ্যাক। জ্যাক কি পারবে তার পরিবারকে বাঁচাতে? জ্যাক কি পারবে তার সম্প্রদায়কে রক্ষা করতে?

ভিজুয়ালি এতো সুন্দর সিনেমা হলিউড সম্ভবত এর আগে দেখেনি। ভিজুয়ালি সিনেমার নতুন এক স্ট্যান্ডার্ড সেট করেছেন পরিচালক জেমস ক্যামেরুন। এই স্ট্যান্ডার্ড টপকে যাওয়া হয়তো অসম্ভব হবে।

তবে, ভিজুয়ালি অসাধারণ হলেও সিনেমার গল্পে তেমন জোর নেই। বরং এত বড় আয়োজনের তুলনায় গল্পটা একটু বেশিই সাধারণ!

Hollywood has probably never seen such a visually beautiful movie before. Director James Cameron has set a new standard for visually stunning movies with Avatar 2. Crossing this standard would be impossible for most. As stunning as the visuals are, the story of the movie is quite simple on the other hand.
