ম্রো শিশুদের গল্প শোনায় জুমঘর পাঠাগার

বান্দরবানের চিম্বুক পাহাড়ের বুকে প্রায় ১৩ শ ফুট উঁচুতে ছিল একটি জুমঘর। স্থানীয় যুবক ইয়াঙান ম্রো এই জুমঘরটিকেই গড়ে তুলেছেন শিশুদের পাঠাগার হিসেবে। নাম দিয়েছেন ‘সাংচিয়া তেকরা, সাংচিয়া শোনতারা কিম’, বাংলায় যার অর্থ ‘গল্প বলা, গল্প শোনা’। বান্দরবান সদর থেকে প্রায় ২০ কিলোমিটার দূরে চিম্বুক পাহাড়ের পাদদেশে রামরি পাড়ার এই পাঠাগার নিয়ে আজকের ইনসাইড বাংলাদেশ।

Children’s strories at Mro’s Jumghar library

There’s a jumghar library at 1300ft above sea level on the chimbuk hill in Bandarban. A local youth by the name of Yangan Mro developed this jumghar as a children’s library. He named it ‘Sangchia Tekra, Sangchia Shontara Kim’, which translates to ‘telling stories, listening to stories’.
