A man was brutally murdered in the Maligaon area of Guwahati on Wednesday.
The body was dumped in a drain with hands and feet tied. The body has been kept
at the Maligaon Gosala police station and is yet to be identified. The investigation is underway.
Speaking to the media, police personnel said, “We came to know at around 8:30-9 am
that a body has been lying in the drain near Dev Kata Nagar. Right now, it’s in a preliminary stage as we have just started the investigation. So, as of now, we have sent the body for autopsy”.
