Synopsis: Dil Hi To Hai is a twisted fairytale story of Kings, Princes, Ministers and their twisted ways that leads to adventure and thrill.

Tyrant king Vikram Singh who still lives in the age of Kings & Queens rules Vikramgarh, a tiny remote state in India. His queen, Kaushalya Devi, is the mother of twin princes, named Harshvardhan & Govardhan. Prince Govardhan is simple, so they call him stupid & prince Harsh is smart, so the subjects look to him as the future king of the state. Thakur Karan Singh is the Diwan of the State, under whose supervision the future king, prince Harshvardhan is trained.

While Govardhan has the liberty to move freely anywhere, Harshvardhan with the impending duty on him does not enjoy the same freedom. The strict discipline and the surroundings of the palace makes him revolt, so when his marriage is planned, he finds the best opportunity in the situation and gets his twin married in his place and himself with the Diwan escapes to Mumbai.

Did the king find out, that instead of Harsh, Prince Govardhan had Married Jayshree? What happens to the Harsh and Diwan in Mumbai, away from the security of their own land, as mere commoners?
