SAIRU Hill Resort area is set against the spectacular greenery covered hill range which is renowned for its natural beauty, round the year pleasant climate and as the heart of Buddhist culture. It is conveniently located on the hill slopes at the Y – junction of the road from Bandarban to Chimbuk. It covers an area of approximately 12 acres and the resort structures are clustered and spread within a vertical height of 1000 feet to 1775 feet above sea level giving it a picturesque view. On a clear sunny day, even the Bay of Bengal is visible on the horizon which is just about 40 km crow flight distance away.
It takes only about 45 minutes drive through this interesting hilly terrain on a road that ascends and descends along the curves of the hills lending a panoramic scenic beauty overlooking the Shangu River on the North-East and the Bay of Bengal is visible on the North-West.Shangu River on the North-East and the Bay of Bengal is visible on the North-West.

THE MYSTERY OF THE NAME ‘SAIRU’
A long time ago, in the distant lands of Bandarban, there was a beautiful young Mro maiden called Sairu. She was the daughter of the king of a mountain tribe. She had passionately fallen in love with a young man, the son of the king belonging to another hill tribe. Love knows no boundaries or restrictions and eventually, the elders got wind of the affair and got so angered by it that they took extreme measures to put an end to it. The young man was hurriedly married off to a girl from his tribe and Sairu was left alone to grieve. Heartbroken and desolate, it is told that Sairu would roam the forest alone until one day she was no more!
Two trees that grew entwined on the hills at the crown on a spot along the top of the Resort Site is said to symbolize the love of Sairu.

Today that spot is known as the SAIRU Point. The complex, Sairu Hill Resort, draws its name from this Mythical Love Story and the logo from the two entwined trees.

সাইরু হিল রিসোর্ট, মেঘের ডানায় প্রশান্ত অবকাশ
বাংলাদেশের রিসোর্টগুলোর মধ্যে অবস্থান আর সৌন্দর্যের দিক থেকে প্রথম সারিতে থাকা একটি অনিন্দ্য সুন্দর আর মনোরম রিসোর্ট “সাইরু হিল রিসোর্ট”। আর এই শরতকাল হলো “সাইরু হিল রিসোর্ট”এ ভ্রমণের জন্যে সবথেকে ভালো সময়। শুধুমাত্র একটা রিসোর্ট ভ্রমণের জন্যে কোথাও যাওয়ার কথা ভাবতে অবাক লাগছে? এখানে একবার যাওয়ার পর আপনার অবশ্যই মনে হবে আপনি শুধু এই রিসোর্টটি ভ্রমণের জন্য আরো বহুবার আসতে পারেন।

পাহাড়, নদী, আকাশ, মেঘ আর নান্দনিক ভঙ্গিমায় সাজানো গোছানো এই রিসোর্ট এনে দেবে আপনার চোখ আর মনের প্রশান্তি। সাইরু হিল রিসোর্ট তার অনন্যতায় আপনার যে কোনো মুহূর্তকে করে দিবে প্রফুল্ল আর প্রাণোচ্ছল।

ভেবে দেখুন এমন একটি সকালের কথা যেখানে আপনি কোনো পাহাড়ের চূড়ায় ভোরের শিশির জমা ঘাসের পাশে একটি পরিপাটি টেবিলে নাস্তা করছেন আপনার প্রিয় মানুষটির সাথে। আর আশেপাশে মেঘের দল যেন আলতো পরশ বুলিয়ে যাচ্ছে। কি ভাবছেন দার্জিলিং বা নাগোরকোটের কথা বলছি? না একেবারেই না। এটিও সাইরু হিল রিসোর্টের কথাই বলছি। পুরো রিসোর্ট ধরে বাইরের দিকের খোলা বারান্দায় আর সামনের দিগন্তজোড়া সবুজে এই দৃশ্য প্রায় প্রতিদিনের। আপনার নাগালের মধ্যেই আছে তাদের বিভিন্ন প্যাকেজ। নেই ভিসার লাইনে অপেক্ষা। নেই কোন ঝক্কি ঝামেলা। শুধু একবার ফোন করে বুকিং করুন আর চলে আসুন।

সাইরু হিল রিসোর্ট এমন ভাবে ডিজাইন করা যা আমাদের দেশের যে কোন রিসোর্ট থেকে আলাদা, একই সাথে দৃষ্টিনন্দন। বান্দরবান জেলা শহর থেকে মাত্র ১৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে। চিম্বুক পাহাড়ে যাবার পথেই সাইরু হিল রিসোর্ট।

রিসোর্টটি পাহাড়ের উপরে। যতদূর চোখ যাবে সবুজ তো দেখবেনই। প্রতিরূপ সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে প্রায় ৮০০ অথবা এক হাজার ফুট উপরে হওয়ায় মেঘ ছুঁয়ে যাবে আপনার পায়ে। সাঙ্গু নদীর অপরূপ দৃশ্য তো থাকছেই। পাহাড়, নদী আর আকাশের এ এক অপূর্ব মিতালী ‌। পাশাপাশি আপনাকে সন্তুষ্ট করবার জন্য বিলাসবহুল জীবন যাপনের প্রতিটি সরঞ্জাম থাকছে রিসোর্টে। এককথায় কয়েক দিন ছুটি কাটিয়ে যাবার জন্য অনন্য জায়গায়টি। তাদের আছে ২০টির মতো কটেজ।
