Vasu (Ravi Kishan) & his wife Suman (Priyanka) move to America after Vasu’s father Sitaram Chaudhri (Jeetendra) doesn’t approve their marriage. Sitaram and his wife Janaki (Mausami Chatterjee) then keep waiting for years but Vasu doesn’t return. Then suddenly one day, Sita (Kajol) comes to them and very soon she becomes dear to everyone. Sitaram tries everything possible to see his son at least once back in his home. But the truth is totally different. Sita has actually come to India to give the news of Vasu and Suman’s death, but looking at the situation, the love that Chaudhri has for his son, she couldn’t break out the news and keeps on waiting for the right moment to speak the truth. But situation even becomes worse as Sitaram keeps demanding her to convince Vasu to come back by arranging his remarriage with Janki. Sita with help of Kashi (Rohit Bhatia) keeps avoiding some how or the other. One day Janki dies and now Sitaram wants Vasu at any cost. What will Sita do now in this crucial situation?
