Extrajudicial Murder of 7 Men in Narayangonj Becoming Common Throughout Bangladesh[Sub]-May5,2014

Narayanganj experienced a gruesome and depressing sight on the day when bodies of 7 missing men were found dead in the river. Parents and families of the missing men have called and plead for help from the government but with no success. This is increasingly becoming common where opposition activists and most importantly innocents believed to be opposition have gone missing or detained by RAB. Families of the missing men are demanding the government open an investigation in these crimes. Law enforcement agencies are denying their involvement in these crimes and has stated that the agencies have procedures to follow when detaining a person.
