Lorie is the story of Geeta (Shabana Azmi) who gets married to her lover Bhupinder (Farooq Shaikh) against the wishes of her family. Tragedy strikes her happy married life when, Geeta suffers a miscarriage, rendering her with the disability to beget a child in the future. She is devastated and severely depressed about this loss. One day she comes across a small boy left behind by his family. She takes him home and treats the boy like her own son. Unfortunately for Geeta, the boy’s family turns up to claim their son back.
