HEADLINE: ICC OFFICIALS IN BANGLADESH TO LOOK INTO ROHINGYA CASE
SUBHEADLINE: THOUSANDS OF ROHINGYA REFUGEES LIVE IN REFUGEE CAMPS IN BANGLADESH
ICC officials are in Bangladesh to conduct a preliminary examination to determine whether a prosecution over alleged deportations of Rohingya refugees could be made against the government of Myanmar. In September 2018, the International Criminal Court opened an investigation to determine if the displacement of thousands of Rohingya refugees in 2016 did not constitute war crimes. The ICC is still to interview victims.
