Synopsis:::
Samapti is a social drama that tells the hard life of a village boy Bhola. He is a simple and kind boy who loves his family very much and grows in a remote city near Kolkata, in dire poverty. As he grows old, he understands the cruel world that exists outside the comfort of his school. He is forced into labour and has to give up school, and becomes a worker like his father. Soon, after a series of unfortunate events in his life, Bhola decides to go to Kolkata and change his luck in life. There he meets his guardian angel of sorts, Nemai whom he respects as his brother, and is taken in by a family who give Bhola a job at their restaurant. Bhola is soon faced with the harsh realities of the modern world, its dark dirty secrets and the false and fake nature of reality. The movie is a statement on the modern life, and all its evils. The story ends on a sad note, when Bhola is arrested for murder at his sister’s wedding, and he is screaming words of anguish, without any fear in his heart.
