Synopsis:::
‘Rajani’ is the story of a blind girl named Rajani. Labanga and Amar are in love with each other. Labanga’s father is against the relationship. Labanga is married to an aged man. Sachi is the son of Labanga’s husband from his first wife. He is a doctor. He meets Rajani, the blind girl who delivered flowers to them. He develops feelings for her and starts treating her. Rajani’s wedding is fixed against her wishes. She tries to escape and gets drowned. Amar notices her and saves her life. Circumstances reveal that Rajani is actually the real owner of the property that Sachi and his father is enjoying. Amar goes to Kolkata to help her get back her property. He meets Labanga after years. Sachi starts Rajani’s treatment again. Amar and Rajani’s wedding is fixed. But when Labanga realizes Rajani and Sachi’s feelings for each other she requests Amar not to get married to her. Sachi’s treatment helps Rajani get back her eyesight. Amar realizes how much Rajani loves Sachi and decides to get them married.
