Bangladesh Sends Troops to Rohingya Camp Amid Refugee Gang War

Bangladesh sent troops into the world’s largest refugee camp, Wednesday, October 7, after days of fighting between rival Rohingya drug gangs.

Two armed refugee gangs from Myanmar are waging a deadly turf war in the camp in Kutapalong.

Seven people have died in the past six days in the skirmishes and severa other have been injured according to an official.

The camps have been home to nearly one million Muslim Rohingya refugees fleeing from a military crackdown in Myanmar. (AFP)
