Synopsis:::
Batasi is a social drama that is based on the life of a witty girl Batasi and her bad habits of stealing. The story-line not only has comical elements but also has an essence of social seriousness. The story shows her as a petty thief, her change in character for her husband, the threats she suffers from an anti-social gang and her victory over evil. The movie shows how different human nature is, in the shades of being loving, caring, generous, greedy, selfish and evil. All characters in the movie have a lasting impression as they are funny, witty and strongly built-up. The story ends on a dramatic note, where she is abandoned by her family due to misunderstandings but in the end, it is a happy ending and all issues are resolved.
