A DAY IN BANGLADESH SUNDARBANS: Exploring the largest mangrove forest in the world.

SUNDARBANS: The largest mangrove forest in the world… But seriously, much more than that. We took a boat from the main ferry port in Mongla and spent the day exploring the national park. This area of Bangladesh and India used to be known as the habitat of the Legal Tiger although sadly with demising numbers the chances of spotting one are pretty low…

We DID see some leaping river dolphins though. (And visited the crocodile breeding sanctuary). But the highlight of this day was meeting different people that live on the river.
