Mexico's migrant massacre

Over the past decades, human trafficking across the Mexico-U.S. border has become a multi-billion-dollar industry. An elaborate scheme of bad actors with networks stretching over multiple countries, including El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, controls the illegal passage of people, preying on their desperate circumstances. Alasdair Baverstock reports from Mexico with the stories of the victims of these criminal bands, and their testimonies of a system where police forces and state representatives seem complicit or a the very least negligent to bring an end to this regime of terror.
