The Bangabandhu Tri Tower | OFFICIAL Video | Bangladesh

BangaBandhu Tri Tower is going to be the centerpiece of the US$12 Billion Dollar Central Business District Development Project in the Purbachal Area of Dhaka, Bangladesh and the crowning jewel of the CBD will be The Legacy Tower, which is a 111 floor tower of 473 m (1552 ft) under-construction supertall skyscraper in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Legacy Tower skyscraper is a part of Bangabandhu tri-tower: alongside 71-floor Liberation Tower and 52-floor Language Tower and upon completion, will become the 14th tallest building in the world, and the tallest in South Asia. The Three skyscrapers will be surrounded by an additional 38 skyscrapers all of which will have above 50 floors.

Of the three towers, one 52-storey building will be built in memory of the Language Movement of 1952, one 71-storey building in memory of the great Liberation War that took place in 1971, and the country’s largest 111-storey building with a 96-storey museum will be constructed as the legacy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Everything about this project is symbolic of the rise of Bangladesh as a growing economy that is well on its way to joining the club of one of the Top 25 most economically powerful countries in the world by the end of this decade.

The Purbachal CBD project will have open squares, residential skyscrapers, hospitals, convention halls, retail spaces, office spaces, shopping malls, hospitals, universities, schools, theatres, boat club and elevated sky walk and bicycling track surrounding the area.

This Purbachal Central Business District should not be mistaken as a satellite city like Gurgaon of Delhi, Bahria Town, Malir Cantt. of Karachi and Putra Jaya of Kuala Lumpur as Bangabandhu Tri Tower and its CBD area is very much within Dhaka city and when completed will be 10 minutes drive from the most expensive area (Gulshan) of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The construction of the tri-towers officially commenced on 10 September 2020. The design, created by Heerim Architects and Planners of South Korea incorporates many unique structural and aesthetic features such as solar glass and automatic waste-management systems. As a result, a large portion of the towers’ energy demand will be met with renewable energy. The structural consultancy of the project is being provided by Archetype Group of France.[5] The towers are being created by PowerPac Holdings Limited, a joint consortium of Kajima Corporation and Sikder Group
