Mamata Banerjee In Rampurhat Meets Families Of Birbhum Victims

Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee visited Birbhum district where at least eight people were killed in an arson. She announced Rs 5 lakh compensation for the families of the victims. The arson that killed eight people occurred soon after the alleged murder of TMC panchayat leader Bhadu Sheikh. Meanwhile, PM Modi extended his condolences to the families of the victims. He urged the people of Bengal to “never forgive the perpetrators”.

Meanwhile, Sambit Patra lashed out at Mamata Banerjee by saying “I want to ask Mamata Banerjee if the deaths of 8 people are equivalent to sneezing,” asks Sambit Patra, on Mamata Banerjee’s statement.
