Another Muslim Murder in NYC and Still NO NYPD Bias Investigation

The husband heard his wife scream, in broken English – “Somebody Killed Me!”, before he rushed up the block, and found his wife, on the ground…stabbed in the torso.

Like so many other Muslim women living in this Queens community, Ms. Khanam – who emigrated several years ago from her native Bangladesh, and just received her US citizenship earlier this summer…routinely wore a hijab – a traditional religious head covering.

Police confirm nothing was taken from her the fatal attack.

But unlike other NYPD violent crime investigations of the past – in other city neighborhoods involving members of a specific ethnicity or religion – in Ms. Khanam’s case…the NYPD has so far declined to investigate her murder – as a hate crime.
