Moeen to travel to Bangladesh

England all-rounder Moeen Ali has revealed he will go on the tour of Bangladesh.
Moeen is the latest England player to announce he will take part in the tour at the end of the month, if selected, following wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow on Friday.

England all-rounder Moeen Ali spoke to the media on Saturday ahead of the fifth and final One-Day International against Pakistan.
Eoin Morgan’s side go into the match in Cardiff aiming to complete a 5-0 whitewash over the tourists.

SOUNDBITE (English): Moeen Ali, England:
(Does it feel like you are on the verge of something very special?) “Yeah, definitely. I mean it feels different to other series where we have got a chance now, a great chance actually, to get this whitewash. And I don’t think we have ever done it before. So it would be a massive achievement and it just shows how good this side is and the way that we are going.”

SOUNDBITE (English): Moeen Ali, England:
(Is the fielding something that you think still needs improving?) “Yeah, I think so. I mean, we are always trying to perfect our fielding – or get close to it. We feel like we are a still a long way off that and we have fielded pretty well still. But we want to obviously become number one in the world. And to go along with our batting and bowling, if we can get our fielding right it will be a fantastic team.”

During the press conference, Ali also confirmed that he will travel on the tour to Bangladesh if selected – following Jonny Bairstow’s announcement on Friday.
