Venkatesam (Sivaji) is a mechanic who runs his own garage. He falls in love with Anjali (Anisha Singh) who soon reciprocates his feelings. Meanwhile, Anjali’s father, Siva Prasad (Siva Prasad), who learns about his daughter’s relationship, accepts their love on the advice of his guru ‘Parakaya Baba’ (Rajendra Prasad). When things start looking rosy and the couple’s nuptial arrangements are on in full swing, Siva Prasad suddenly tells Venkatesam’s parents that he wants to call off the wedding.
