Synopsis::
Pita Putra is a social drama that tells us the fact that whether it is the old or new generation, good and true people can identify the real gold. The movie begins with Jhulon singing at a radio station. She is in a committed relationship with Ashok, a medical student. Ashok’s father wants Ashok to marry Mahasweta, which is Jhulon’s other name, who is his childhood friend’s niece. But because of some misunderstandings and problems created by Jhulon’s aunt, Ashok thinks that his father wants him to marry to someone else. Ashok goes against his father because of this and leaves him and goes on to marry Jhulon. They both go through various ups and downs in life and finally come to Banaras where Ashok is looking for a job and his father is on a pilgrimage. There Ashok’s father meets Mahasweta and finds out that she is the girl for whom his son left home and also the one whom he had chosen for his son. The movie ends on a happy note where the son and father are reunited and live happily after.
