Synopsis: Jaya Bachchan is the fun loving village girl who is devoted to her cow (Lakshmi) whom is more then just an ordinary cow but her best friend but Jaya Bachchan ends up marrying Satrughan Sinha and is forced to give up Lakshmi. Jaya is faced with numerous obstacles in her life brought on by her husband. After some time Jaya and Lakshmi finally reunite again.
