Appalling reports of rape and sexual violence being perpetrated in Ukraine are emerging by the day. From Myanmar to Yemen to Tigray, conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) rages on around the world with impunity. CRSV’s use as a tactic of war is widely recognized, yet global efforts have failed to hold perpetrators accountable. This event features leading policymakers and experts who discussed how international mechanisms, including sanctions and prosecution, can be best applied to make a tangible difference in the lives of women in conflicts around the world.
