Race 2 is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime Thriller Film directed by Abbas-Mustan and written by Kiran Kotrial and Shiraz Ahmed. The film was produced by Ramesh S. Taurani under the Tips Industries Limited banner, with UTV Motion Pictures serving as distributor and presenter. A sequel to the 2008 film, Race and the second installment of the Race film series, the film has an ensemble cast starring Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel in lead roles while Bipasha Basu, Aditya Pancholi and Rajesh Khattar are featured in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Pritam, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Salim–Sulaiman. The film was dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.

Made on a budget of ₹94 crore, Race 2 was released on 25 January 2013 (India) and 26 January 2013 (Worldwide). The film opened to mixed reviews from audiences and critics, with praise for its story, dialogue, exotic locations, luxury cars, action sequences, music, background track and performance of the cast, but criticized for the screenplay, unwanted scenes and visual effects. It grossed ₹180 worldwide and was deemed a “super hit”, according to Box Office India.[1]
