The body of a Hindu woman was found on Sunday (3 March 2024) in Gopalganj district of Bangladesh. The deceased has been identified as 70 year old Hashilata Biswas. Hashilata used to work as a priest in the temple. On the day of the incident the ashram was found in disarray. The donation box was found broken. Initial investigation has found that Hashilta was murdered due to protest against theft. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
