A senior official of the Women and Child Development department and his wife have been detained by Delhi Police on charges of raping his friend’s 14-year-old daughter (now 17-years-old) over months and impregnating her. The wife gave her abortion pills. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday ordered the suspension of the senior official.
