From Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Dibrugarh in Assam the world’s longest river cruise will cross into Bangladesh too before making its way to the final destination. The 3,200 km cruise will cover 50 major tourist sites on the way. The government of India has worked together with the government of Bangladesh to work on a waterway project. This is a one-of-its-kind project across the world. This will be a symbol of India’s growing cruise tourism too. The river cruise will cross 27 river systems including Ganga-Bhagirathi-Hooghly, Brahmaputra and West Coast Canal in India.
