It is a pleasure to inform you that Canvas for Career and Individual Development (CCID) Bangladesh has been working on a critical issue of professional development which is ‘Bridging the Gap between Academia & Industry in Bangladesh’. Which is why large number of graduates remaining unemployed every year. Unemployed Rate in Bangladesh increased to 5.30 percent. In 2020 from 4.20 percent in 2019. Govt Employees rate 6.2. We have a resilient private sector which provides extensive amounts of Jobs that contributes to national GDP approximately 45.31 percent. However, there are a number of issues which are dragging Bangladesh backward. One of them is a serious skill gap. Due to this serious gap, students cannot prepare them for the future job and remain unemployed for an uncertain period after completing their education. This has a serious detrimental socio-economic impact.
CCID is excellent at organizing Job placement, on campus recruitment opportunities, Internship experience career counselling, career planning, training, personal development opportunities, corporate grooming, over all ethical/professional conduct, conducts workshop, seminars and all other facets of career planning for young people.
