Gopal and Maharaja go on to run an errand. On their way, Gopal gets tempted by Sandesh. He makes an excuse to get his hands on the sweets. As he gets it, he starts to relish the sweets, only to realize that he had finished an entire pot of it. He offers the Sandesh to Maharaja. Boni is astonished to see that someone stole his pot of sweets. Maharaja realizes that Gopal was the one who had stolen it and makes him tell the truth. Gopal tells that in that way even Maharaja had stolen a portion since he ate it. To compensate for the mistake, Maharaja gives Boni his gold chain.
