Extraction 2020 – Movie Review
Extraction is a 2020 action-thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, Golshifteh Farahani, Pankaj Tripathi, and David Harbour. The film is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman.
The plot follows Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), a black-market mercenary, who is hired to rescue the kidnapped son of an international crime lord. The mission takes place in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and turns out to be much more dangerous than Rake expected. He must fight his way through the city while protecting the young boy, who becomes a target for rival gangs and corrupt police officers.
