Two People Fatally Shot / Astoria, Queens NYC 4.1.23

3.31.23 / Video by Usman / ASTORIA, Queens (NYPD) On Friday, March 31, 2023, at approximately 2229 hours, police responded to multiple 911 calls for shots fired and of a male shot in front of 24-15 Steinway Street, within the confines of the 114 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the torso. A second victim, a 21-year-old male was found a short time later inside of 24-35 38th Street suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. Further investigation revealed this victim was also shot in the vicinity of 24-15 Steinway Street. EMS responded to the scenes and transported both victims to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where they were pronounced deceased. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

21-year old male
Bronx, NY
