A humble tribute to one of my favourite musicians in the world, Late Abdul Alim, one of the finest artists of Bengali Music. Duarey Aishase is a sufi (Marefati) traditional song from Bangladesh based on hundreds of years of melange of faith, culture, lifestyle and music.
This is a simple one mic one camera live recording with stock footages to create a story of simple everyday life of people, their childhood, adulthood and associations with nature and it’s bounties. Life s indeed a short journey, too precious to waste it on over consumption, ambitiousness and greed.
While we live with our privileges and are busy criticising others or complaining about what is terrible about life and art, some are just about getting through their everyday.
I have independently tried to help a few thousand people during this world pandemic situation and feel helpless that there is a such a huge number of people for whom I haven’t been able to do anything.
Let’s all come forward to see humanity as one unified race and not divide ourselves further.
The film is made from stock footages I selected and edited myself. All the footages have been downloaded from pexels.com.
