Promod is found dead in his bedroom when his wife Surekha tries to wake him up. Promod and his wife are late risers so the house help has been given a duplicate key to enter their house without the least disturbance. The CID team interrogates him if he has noticed anything unusual but he denies witnessing any such scene. Later, the CID team finds a gun in the house which Surekha and the domestic help are unaware of. Although the clues hint toward the servant. Is he really guilty?
