Beauty Boarding is a boarding house and restaurant located in old Dhaka. It has been serving customers from even before Bangladesh’s independence. Established in 1949, it is considered as the classic place in Old dhaka. It is a historical center of the intellectual gathering of Bengali authors, poets, cultural activists, and politicians. It has a calm and green environment.

Prawn / Chingri macher vorta is made of sutki chingri. চিংড়ি শুটকি ভর্তা is not going well with our taste buds.
টাকি মাছ / Taki macher vorta is spicy & yummy. You will get a punch of Chilli flakes flavor. Delish!
Sorshe Ilish is a classic Bengali recipe made with Mustard paste, green chili and kalo jeera. Strong flavor of Sorisha bata/mustard paste will kick your taste buds. The uniqe taste of ilish is flavorful. It’s needed to add a little bit of salt. Otherwise the gravy is delish. Nothing is more blissful than a plate of steaming hot rice with Hilsa. সরষে ইলিশ ~ স্বাদ দুর্দান্ত!
Chiken / Murgir jhol made with soft potato and moderate level of spices. পাঁচ ফোড়ন/Panch phoron flavor is prominent. Panch phoron, Panch Phodan or Pancha Phutana is a whole spice blend, originating from the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent. Chicken is succulent. Simple & Light Chicken Curry. Tasty.
মসুর ডাল / Masoor/ Mushurer Dal/Lentil has the flavor of Panch Phoron. These five spices are used as a tempering which gives a distinct aroma and flavour to the Bengali cuisine. It has mango flavor and Green chili flavor in it. Mild spices are used. Tastes amazing. Yum.
Boyal / Boal macch has beautiful, gorgeous color. It is made with aloo/potato and tomato. It is Big size fish, which is alwayes our favorite. It has white tasty flesh with fried golden skin. Has the flavor of Panch phoron/ Indian Five-Spice Blend. Average in taste. Add lemon and it will jazz up the flavor of the fish.
Chatni of mango. Punch phoron & chili flakes flavor is prominent. Overall flavorsome! It’s perfectly made. Tasty! delectable! mouth-watering!
Doi has a beautiful, perfect color and taste. It is tasty & luscious. Tantalizing our taste buds. Fresh/khati milk made doi. A must try! Yummy! 😋
It is evident that they use Panch Phoron in most of the dishes which brings the original flavor of Bengali fish and meat. They are giving the similar taste of food, we tried at Kolkata.
