An Indian guy was detained by Bangladesh Customs in Dhaka with 12 kg gold bars on 9 July 2018. His name is Mr. Arshad Ayaz Ahmed who came from Malaysia via Bangkok by Thai Airways. The gold bars were tied in his waist like a belt. But Customs suspected him as a gold smugglers. Finally the gold bar was found.
