Synopsis:::
‘Chirnatan’ is the story of a mother and her son who get separated immediately after the child’s birth. Chandra secretly marries Supriyo against her father’s wishes. Supriyo is killed in an accident when Chandra is pregnant. Her father thinks that her child is illegitimate and so sends the child to Adhir’s house and tells Chandra that she delivered a dead baby. Anath, Chandra’s son is ill-treated by Adhir’s wife and made to work as a servant. Sujan, Chandra’s friend’s cousin develops feelings for her and wants to marry her but she can’t get over her past. Unable to bear the tortures Anath escapes from Adhir’s house just when Chandra finds out about her son. Anath gets shelter at Bhaba da’s place. Anath meets with accident when Bhaba da tries to take him back to his family. Anath is finally united with his real mother.
