Bandhan Experess starts wheeling from Sunday after long 26 months. The train will to and fro on every Sunday and Thursday and it will connect Kolkata and Khulna. Ticket price for the executive class is 1200 rupees and Chair car 800 rupees. From Kolkata Station the train starts its journey and reach Khulna within 4-5 hours.

ভারতের সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশের বন্ধন শুধু মনের নয়, ব্যবসার দিক থেকেও এই বন্ধনের গুরুত্ব অনেকটাই। আর পশ্চিমবঙ্গের কথা বললে তো সেই গুরুত্ব অন্য মাত্রা পায়। এদিকে কলকাতা আর ওদিকে ঢাকা- প্রতিদিন দুই বাংলার বহু মানুষের পা পড়ে কর্মসূত্রে। আর শুধু কাজের কথাই বা বলি কেন। কত মানুষ আছেন, যারা ওপার বাংলা থেকে কলকাতায় আসেন চিকিৎসার জন্য। কেউ বা আসেন স্রেফ ঘুরতে। তাই সব মিলিয়ে বলাই যায় সময়ের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে দুই বাংলার মানুষের মধ্যে বন্ধন কমছে না, বরং বেড়েই চলেছে। আর সেই বন্ধনের জোরকে আরও একটু শক্ত করল বন্ধন এক্সপ্রেস। গত রবিবার থেকে কলকাতা থেকে বাংলাদেশের খুলনার মধ্যে বন্ধন এক্সপ্রেস ফের যাতায়াত করতে শুরু করে দিল। উচ্ছ্বসিত দুই বাংলার মানুষই।
