Bloodbath In Bengal: HC Seeks Probe Report In Birbhum Violence By 2 PM Tomorrow

The Calcutta High Court has asked Bengal to submit the status report on the Rampurhat violence by 2 pm tomorrow. The court has directed the state to install CCTV cameras in the presence of the district judge and round-the-clock CCTV surveillance of the scene of the occurrence. It also has directed a forensic team from Delhi to collect evidence immediately from the spot for examination and told the state to ensure eyewitnesses are protected with immediate measures by the police in consultation with the district judge.
