Did you ever try to walk barefoot in the rice fields early in the morning?
This trip to Shariatpur coincided with Gigi’s birthday a while ago. So she gave herself one of the happiest presents by walking barefoot though the rice fields of a Bangladeshi Village.

The local people didn’t understand at first why there is a confused girl barefoot in the middle of their rice plantations. Or the weird Bengali words coming out of Gigi’s mouth. But slowly the chances turned in her favor.

We are in Bangladesh to explore the Bangladesh culture, Bengali food, blend with the Bangladesh people and see how life is in the Bay of Bengal. Bangladesh has welcomed us for the past 1.5 months and we are in love with this colorful country!
