Porani – Reminiscence || Chakma New Music Video 2022 || Bangladesh

The word “Porani” (𑄛𑄧𑄢𑄚𑄨) means my beloved which is addressed by her dearest person. Porani is a song about a young couple where is expressing immense love, strength and courage but separated by the 60’s Kaptai Dam. He’s recalling that moments before the dam they have been spent together. This Reminiscence rendition, we’ve tried to commemorate to you the feelings, emotion, sacrifice and courage of that situation. Moreover we also tried to portrait the panicky, inequitable, unrest situation of CHT peoples due to the dam. Hoping that one day, they could meet together again and fulfill their wish what they were dream of.
