Bangladeshi Travel Vlogger – AssalamuAlaikum travel enthusiasts of Bangladesh and the rest of the world! I am a Bangladeshi blogger + vlogger, born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Cricket, though born in England but somehow bring all the Muslims around the world together to fight! I’m kidding! But I did travel to England all the way from Germany to see it. Pakistan and Bangladesh are the two Islamic countries that are somewhat good at it, but now a days are many Muslim players playing in the national teams of other countries. Every kid born in the continent had two things as part of their childhood – school and cricket oh and homemade curry of course. As a result I noticed there were plenty of halal food trucks at the stadium, so we were set! It is every cricket fans dream to watch a world cup cricket match live from stadium, for me the opportunity came in ICC world cup cricket 2019, in the Bangladesh vs Afghanistan. The crowed made it seem like I traveled to Dhaka, Bangladesh cause the stadium was full of Bangladeshi people chanting in Bangla. Bangladesh cricket has improved a lot in last decade and that is exactly how long it has been since I saw Bangladesh Cricket Team in action. Tamim Iqbal, Sakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim are all grown up and Mashrafe Mortaza the deserving leader of this side. FYI- I had huge camera malfunction and lost a huge number of footage so I had to borrow some from the official ICC footage. All in all though, it was a memorable trip.

অন্য দেশের খবর জানিনা তবে বাংলাদেশে ৯০’র দশকে বেড়ে ওঠা প্রায় প্রত্যেকটা ছেলের জন্য ক্রিকেট ছিল ছেলেবেলার অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। ব্যাট নিয়া আমি নিজেও কম দৌড়াদৌড়ি করিনাই, “খেলোয়াড়” হিসেবে তেমন সুবিধার না হইলেও আগ্রহের কোনো কমতি ছিলোনা। এক দশকের উপরের প্রবাস জীবনে, পরিবার বাদে বাংলাদেশের সাথে মূল যোগসূত্র এই ক্রিকেট, সকালে অফিস থাকলেও রাত জেগে খেলা দেখছি, আর দিনের বেলা খেলা থাকলে অফিসের কাজ ফাঁকি দিয়া, খেলা দেখার মাফ নাই। এই বছর আগেই ঠিক করে রাখছিলাম ওয়ার্ল্ড কাপে বাংলাদেশের একটা খেলা অন্তত দেখবো, আল্লাহ সেই ইচ্ছাও পূরণ করছেন, শোকর আলহামদুলিলাহ! আমার সেই অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করলাম আপনাদের সাথে, বরাবরের মতোই এই ভিডিওতেও আছে বাংলা সাবটাইটেল সুবিধা, প্রয়োজন মনে করলে CC বাটনে ক্লিক করে নিবেন। ধন্যবাদ।
