President Ram Nath Kovind joins Bangladesh leaders in Liberation day celebrations. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met the Indian President in Dhaka on Wednesday. President Kovind is on his maiden three-day state visit to Bangladesh. He is attending the golden jubilee celebrations of Bangladesh’s Liberation from Pakistan in 1971. Sheikh Hasina and President Kovind reviewed progress in bilateral ties. They discussed several issues of mutual interest and further cooperation.
