This place also called as India Bangladesh Zero Point.

It is in Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, India.

The corresponding post in Bangladesh is Tambil post.

Some shared transport is available from Barabazar in Shillong to the border post at Dawki every morning.

Buses are also available for the 70 kilometres (43 mi) journey from Shillong.

You can also get taxi from Police Bazaar anytime.

Shillong to Dawki is about 82 km via NH 206.

It will take about 3 hours due to hilly area.

Road condition is good.

There are few Bangladeshi vendors who were selling Indian Berries/Plums called “Ber”.

It was good experience.

I bought Ber for INR 10.

BSF Man was instructing both the side people not to enter in each others areas.
