Synopsis::
‘Samarpita’ is a love story. Joydeep comes as a substitute teacher in a college. He wins over the hearts of everybody in college. His students Rina and Anita also fall for him and are attracted by his charms. Joydeep is also attracted towards them. he even confesses his feelings to Rina. But Rina tells him that though she is also attracted to him she’s betrothed to Prof. Banerjee. She also tells him that she knows he has feelings for Anita too. But Anita is a nun who has renounced domestic life. Despite that both fall in love and get close to each other. Mrs. Guha, a jealous colleague of Joydep informs Mother Ann about Anita and she takes her back to the convent. Joydeep requests Mother Ann to consider their relationship but he refuses. But Anita is unable to control her feelings and stay back. She leaves the convent and is united with Joydep.
