Ananta Das a common man lives in Bangaon, West Bengal, with his wife, daughter and elderly father. He commutes to Kolkata daily on the 8:08 Bongaon local train. Everyday he witnesses many unethical, illegal and corrupt practices around him but refrains from raising his voice. One evening he witnesses the murder of a boy from his neighbourhood but walks away when the victim’s sister asks for help. However, a sudden twist in his spinal cord brings about a transformation which encourages him to react violently on spotting any act of injustice being committed in front of him.
