Niharika lives with her husband Arindam a public prosecutor, a dominating husband and a male chauvinist. They have a sweet young daughter Spriha who is deaf and dumb. At a party organised by Niharika for the physically handicapped she meets I.G. of Correctional Cells of West Bengal, Brij Narayan Dutta. He informs her about his ideas and seeks her help to reform the convicts of his jail. Will Niharika help the I.G. in his endeavour to reform these hardened criminals?
