Dipantika (Dipa) an aspiring singer shifts to a new rented house with her father and mother. They become neighbours to Mukunda Chandra and Dilip Babu. Basanti and Renu the wives of Mukunda Chandra doubt that their respective husbands are having an affair with Dipantika.
